至 DuskManeAlice : you can always keep one hand out.. well hold one side closed with wrist in it and practice working key with other.. worse case you have a free hand and can spin the entire thing in front of you to see better

至 Derek6699 : Funnily enough, I tried messing around with it more this morning. I got curious and tried locking/unlocking with my left hand. I am able to manage it just barely with my left hand. Though I'm still a little too afraid to pull the key out while it's in the locked position. I'm scared of being stuck again. But it's super fun all the same being 'trapped' in it. Though I need to invest in gloves like what you have there. My wrists are sore after just a little bit of playing with it.

至 DuskManeAlice : sounds like it worked out perfect then... yes it did take some practice, and I have pretty good dexterity and small wrists/hands to do it.. even last week when I used it.. it took a few tries to get the key in and the lock out. my biggest issue is no having my glasses on makes it hard to see and then a harness gag strap in front of me eye... maybe a small 1x3" 1/4" piece of wood/plastic with a hole threw it so you can slip the key in the slice and put a tiny bolt threw it to make the 'handle' of the key longer and easier to turn.. some practice and you'll get it.

Well.... I finally got that metal yoke or whatever it's called. I don't know how you manage it by yourself. My wrist and fingers just cannot do it. Maybe it just takes practice, but it's seemingly impossible for me. I found a way to get it locked by myself. But I could manage getting the key back into the slot when I wanted out. Ended up being stuck for a while until my room mate got home.
